Have you heard yourself remark that you know your child is smart yet he/she is struggling at school. For many children the root problem is insufficient development of some neurological pathways so although clever, a child can still present with learning and sensory issues.

Johansen IAS

Johansen IAS is an Auditory Stimulation programme which involves listening to music specifically designed to stimulate the nerve pathways into and within the brain – in particular the areas dealing with language. Children as young as three years old, adolescents and adults can all benefit

Sensory experiences include touch, movement, body awareness, sight, sound, smell, taste and the pull of gravity. The process by which the brain organises and interprets this information is called Sensory Integration. Ideally, the brain will interpret normal sensory information in a way that keeps the body at ease.

Educational Assessment

This step aims to catch students up in areas of academic weakness. Once the body has had a chance to reorganize and strengthen its cognitive processes, it is now ready to fill in the learning gaps. What might have taken a year to learn before may now only take a few months. Varied activities with built in rewards throughout our 60 minute sessions
